Dr. Lipson graduated from Emory University Dental School in 1982. He continued his education at the University of Louisville completing a residency in General Practice. Upon returning to Atlanta he became a clinical instructor at Emory in the department of Oral Medicine. He recently was awarded the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. This award signifies a committment to excellence in dentistry. Dr. Lipson is an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry and the Emory Study Club.

Dr. Lipson has been married to Linda for 29 years, they have two boys that graduated from Parkview High School and are now in college. He is active in the community having served on several committees in the school system as well as volunteering as a tutor to at risk students.

In his free time Dr Lipson plays golf, tennis and the guitar.
